Description: Super Fun Piece that would look wonderful in a sun room, she shed, library, above a fireplace or just about any living room in Florida. Mindy Matthews, a Sanford artist, in the 1980's created this poster of the alphabet made of fish and other sea stuff. In the early 90's there was some controversy that the mermaid was not polictically correct and it was replaced with the seashell (which is what is found on most of the t-shirt prints today). I have not been able to find a print of the current or original one in my research. I've only been able to find the shirt. I do think this will be a one of kind hard to find statement wall piece. Some wear/marks on matting. Back of matting is dirty. This would be hard to remove from matting so it is best that is stays in. Please do look at all photos for flaws and measurements.
