This was the cover of the acclaimed science fiction novel The White Dragon by the late Anne McCaffrey, the third of her Dragonriders of Pern trilogy. Printed by Green Onion Graphics (Michael's Company) in 1980, this was acquired from a collector who received this directly from Michael himself. This is a new, unused poster, stored in a smoke and pet free environment, in new unused condition and is shipped rolled, wrapped in a plastic protector inside of a sturdy poster tube. Only very minor dings from years in storage in a smoke and pet free environment keep it from being perfect.
