Description: Mexico, Revolutionary, Provisional Government, 50 Pesos, 20-10-1914, P-S707e, XF-AU A crispy 50 Peso note with strong original paper issued in the final years of Mexico's lengthy Revolutionary period. Issued by the Provisional Government of Mexico in October 1914 in Mexico City, it has a red overprint which states "Revalidated by decree of December 17, 1914". Obverse shows a seated Liberty with National Arms at center and the volcanoes Popocatepetl and Ixtaccihuatl in the background. Series E with seals in red stamped on reverse. Note is quite crisp with original paper and no splits, no tears, no pinholes, some embossing still visible. There is a vertical center fold, a second very light vertical fold, a light corner fold and a bit of wrinkling at lower right. Light toning, lightly flattened?
