The tube was annealed after bending to eliminate stress.New 5/16" flare nut. Note: fuel line fitting is 5/16" OD male flare.The original external silver parts have been re-nickel plated. All external silver parts are original. The carburetor body was media blasted. All external brass parts have been polished. The carburetor has been clear coated.Hand painted the "IH" and "Made in USA" lettering. All sealing surfaces have been honed flat and smooth. The mounting threads have been chased to assure precise assembly and fitment. This 100 year old part is very distinguishable from a factory part. The factory never shipped a part looking this good. Make sure this is the intake manifold you have. Also, the throttle shaft is of an earlier design. The correct governor tube comes with this carburetor. Be certain this is the throttle shaft style you need. This model R carburetor has a unique throttle shaft design. Idle speed and max rpm are adjustable at the carburetor. This can be determined by noticing the two screws at the throttle shaft (adjustable Minimum throttle position and somewhat-fixed Maximum throttle position). Also, the air inlet may be turned the wrong direction for your tractor. Tractor models are different. This is "as designed". You can easily rotate this yourself.
