Both "Marvel Essentials" and "DC Showcase Presents" were lines of inexpensive, massively thick, softcover Trade Paperback books that chronologically reprinted classic comics in an inexpensive black & white format. All these books are now out of print from their publishers. I'll be listing a lot of these books in the next few weeks. To keep costs down, these books were printed on less expensive newsprint type paper. Consequently, their edges tend to yellow easily from age or exposure to overhead lighting. These books were stored properly and the paper is still off-white. These are clean, sharp, books with very light perimeter wear (some have tiny corner creasing) from their original shipping or handling. All Images Are Scanned. (See scans.)
