Description: This rare Macbeth-Evans Petalware cereal bowl is a stunning addition to any antique depression glass collection. The white “Monax” glass is adorned with 3 pastel bands, making it the most sought after color of Petalware. The bowl has bands of pink, blue and green with the inside band being green. This is different from the plates which more often seem to have blue on the inside. It measures 5 3/4 inches in diameter and 1 3/8 inches in height. Crafted between 1930 and 1940 in the United States, this true depression glass is a must-have for collectors of vintage glassware. The opalescent and decorative features of this bowl make it a beautiful piece that is sure to impress. Add it to your collection today! CONDITION: BEAUTIFUL! No chips, nicks, visible scratches, cracks, missing paint or significant stains. But depression glass rarely came from the factory without manufacturing flaws. This one has a little roughness under the pink paint in places, like trapped dust particles, a thin spot in the application of the green paint and some gray specks on the bottom inside. The pictures are of the bowl you will actually receive. As pictured. Please see photos. Questions happily answered. Satisfaction guaranteed.
