Description: This is a lot of 6 vintage paperbacks, mass market paperback-sized. It includes The Man Without Qualities (Volume 1) by Robert Musil translated and with a foreword by Eithne Wilkins and Ernst Kaiser (Capricorn, 1965), America and Americans by John Steinbeck (Bantam, 1968), Keep the Aspidistra Flying by George Orwell (HBJ), Two Novels (Jealousy & In the Labyrinth) by Allain Robbe-Grillet translated by Richard Howard (Evergreen, 1965), Empire of the Sun by J.G. Ballard (Pocket, 1985), and Under the Volcano by Malcolm Lowry (Vintage, 1947). They are all in fairly good condition. All have clean and unmarked pages besides the Robbe-Grillet, which had a few pages annotated and a small tear in the top right of the cover and pretty yellowed pages. The Steinbeck has a sizeable spine crack. The Orwell and Lowry are in particularly very good condition. Overall, a great lot of books. Thanks for looking!
