LOT of 3 VTG Issues SEVENTEEN MAGAZINE - Jan, Feb & March 1983 GREAT CONDITION!

Description: Three issues of Seventeen Magazine from 1983: January, February & March. I have included the Table of Contents for each in the photographs. All issues are complete with no missing pages and no torn/cut out pages, and no writing on any of the pages. They are all in very good condition. January: Cover Girl is Pam Gidley. We’re kicking off 1983 with an emphasis on healthy diet & exercise (the recipe for Meatballs 3 Ways not withstanding). Genie Francis is kicking off Life After General Hospital. Fashion is all lace & khaki & cottons, pink & plum & even painted. We’re writing letters (remember those??) on fanciful, funky stationary. *Two pages have minor wrinkling from what seems to be a publishing error. February: Cover Boy is Cover Boy Winner Clay Tucker (along with Tara Fitzpatrick). We’re celebrating Valentine’s Day with a heart-shaped frosted brownie recipe. The preppie look is still going strong, with Oriental and punk touches. Candie’s, Santa Cruz, Bonjour & Esprit line our closets, Loverboy plays on our stereo, and patterns (stripes! polka dots! geometrics!) are everywhere. We want shiny hair, lips & nails and decidedly non-shiny faces. *Cover has some small writing on it (see photos). March: Cover Girl is Wendy Rossmeyer. Spring is just around the corner, along with Spring Break & prom (which we’re spending with Vincent Spano and pre-superstar Whitney Houston). We’re loving soap operas, John Cougar (not yet Mellencamp), and croissants. Jeans are colored, cropped, striped and stone-washed, and the 50s are back in fashion (with some very 1983 updates).
