Very nice pendant, somewhat worn… But that’s part of the charm. Hanuman is known for keeping you safe, away from evil spirits and demons, and so forth, he was the first Hindu God I fell in love with. Also on the necklace if you care to know, are some African trade beads, including two nice lemon, beads, and some seed beads, and some brass Heishi from Nigeria. I know that the pendant came from India, probably the state of Rajasthan. It’s about 100 years old, although I don’t have providence on any of these beads. I did work in a bead store here in my hometown Oberlin for a decade, and I spent a lot of my paycheck on beads… Now I’m liquidating my collection .
