It can grow to 6 feet tall but is seen most around 4 feet tall. The flower color is usually dark pink to purple, with spots. It can be different colors, such as off-white and even a close black. The flowers are scented. Several flowers can grow on one plant, and they have been seen with up to 50 on one plant. Most soils will work as long as you have good drainage. Light shade to full sun will be required. Zones 3-10 Germination Keep lily seeds frozen in a tightly sealed plastic bag until you are ready to sow. Sow seeds 1/2' deep in a sunny location. Germination occurs in 3-4 weeks. You will have strong plants with mature stems in 3 years.
