Description: ___________THE GOODS___________ Lithography is a printing technique invented in Germany in 1798. It was a revolutionary process that involved painting directly on a flat limestone surface, using a chemical reaction between oil and water, and a very complicated process. In the 1930s, the lithographic technique was revolutionized by the MOURLOT workshop, as described below, and was used by Van Gogh, Munch, Picasso, and Reger. Munch, Picasso, Léger, Matisse, and others. The result was not a mere reproduction, but another "work of art" that radiated a unique presence. This is an original poster produced in 1963 for an exhibition entitled "Tapestry" by Le Corbusier. The vivid red and black colors of the work showcase the "soft desire" or "eroticism" that architect Le Corbusier originally intended as a painter. It may be a glimpse into his deep world hidden behind the label of "master of modernism. This poster was produced by MOURLOT, a pioneering lithography studio, and is one of the 15 posters that Corbusier produced during his lifetime in which he placed his complete trust. The way the paint rises to the surface and shows through on the reverse side gives the poster a texture that only a lithograph can provide.Rare dead stock. It is in very good condition and comes with a certificate of guarantee by the studio. Sold as a poster only. ___________SHIPPING & HANDLING___________ We use FedEx and Japan Post for our shipments, and usually arrive within 3 to 10 days after shipment.
