The Lamoine hotel was built in the mid 1920s in Macomb, Illinois. It was the city's first large modern hotel. In 2010 it was added to the National Register of Historic Places. "HOTEL LAMOINE" is marked on the front of the handle. "International S Co Xll Triple" is marked on the back. This item is in good or better pre-owned vintage condition. There are signs of wear consistent with age, use and storage, which includes but is not limited to discoloration, nicks/pits and scuff/scratch marks in the metal and slightly bent tines.
