Basically, this is the propagation process we use when we are creating more inventory to sell. We take a mature plant and divide the roots into smaller sections, each with at least one cane. The division may or may not have leaves - we will trim the cane at the 1st or 2nd node and it will be 9 to 18 inches tall. We have very good success with these divisions survival and we would expect you too as well. The first picture is of a recently planted hedge of Lady Finger.
