Description: Our hydraulic jack valve release screw knob comes in two sizes to either the jack screw with a 3/8" or 7/16" diameter valve release screw (Choose size above) with across pin of 5/32 (photo #6). The knob also has a longer knurled section for better feel and grip and is machined of billet aluminum. It slides on over the release screw, turns 1/4 turn then secured in place with a set screw (included) from the end of the knob. You will need to use a 5/32 hex key (Allen wrench). If you’re tired of removing the jack handle from the plunger/fulcrum assembly every time to release the jack then this is for you. This particular part is designed for the Harbor Freight Hydraulic Bottle Jack used in the 6, 12 & 20 ton arbor presses but will work on any bottle jack with a 3/8 or 7/16 diameter valve release screw having a 5/32 diameter cross pin. PLEASE NOTE; The knob for the 7/16 diameter screw fits the newer casted screw with a square shaped cross extension as shown in picture 6.
