Description: Kiwi was originally a New Zealand company that was bought out by the French. The company still makes shoe polish but for a long time they also made a high quality carnauba based furniture wax. They stopped making this furniture wax about 15 years ago. I've been in the antique business for 26 years and used this wax exclusively. The west coast distributor was a friend of mine and when he told me Kiwi was going to stop making this furniture wax I bought a large order. Enough to last me through my business. This is some of my unused, never opened, stock.It's a hard wax that develops a good shine.It's easier to work with when the outside temperature is warm. If the wax dries up in the can a small amount of some added solvent will bring it back (Mineral spirits etc. I sometime used kerosene) This is Yellow. We also have Light Oak. The full can by itself weighs 1 pound. So, the shipping cost after packing will be two pounds. (We can't change the post office)
