Cuban sculptor, draftsman and engraver, he was founder and director of the School of Plastic Arts of Matanzas. Since 1960 he is a member of the National Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba, he was the national director of the Plastic Arts in the National Council of Culture in Havana and a national advisor of the Plastic Arts in the Directorate of Schools of the Ministry of Culture in Havana too. He then goes on to study bronze smelting at Clay Sculture Center, and at the New School for Social Research both in New York, United States of America. He was born in 1919 and dies in 1993 in Cuba José Felipe Núñez Booth. Escultor, dibujante y grabador cubano, fue fundador y director de la Escuela de Artes Plásticas de Matanzas. Desde 1960 es miembro de la Unión Nacional de Escritores y Artistas de Cuba, fue director nacional de la Artes Plásticas en el Consejo Nacional de Cultura en La Habana y asesor nacional de la Artes Plásticas en la Dirección de Escuelas del Ministerio de Cultura en La Habana también. Después pasa a estudiar fundición de bronce en Clay Sculture Center, y en la New School for Social Research ambas en Nueva York, Estados Unidos de América. Nació en 1919 y Muere en el año 1993 en Cuba.
