Description: page2 1959 IT WORKS! RARE! 1959 ECONOLITE BICYCLES #703 OVAL MOTION LAMP -14973-SD PLEASE SEE THE VIDEO! This is a RARE! 1959 Econolite Bicycling #703 Oval Motion Lamp. It has been tested and works. This oval motion lamp measures at 11" x 5 1/4" x 6 3/4", when assembled. The heat generated from the light bulb moves the spinner inside reflecting the light on the outer shade. The harder plastic shade is in good condition however there is damage where the outer shade has been pushed in at the top rim. Part of the top rim is also missing. The inner spinner is in fine shape. The blades at the top of the spinner have corrosion. The base of the lamp also are dirty and should clean up. PLEASE NOTE: This lamp gets hot when turned on and should be monitored while in use. Do not use higher than a 60W bulb. The spinner can be finnicky based on the position of the shade and may take some trial and error prior to use to determine the correct position so that is spins freely.
