Description: This auction is for a 1947 (ND 1959) 5 Dinars banknote from Iraq (Central Bank - P-49) graded Very Fine 25 by PMG (Previously Mounted, Stains comment). This note is obviously circulated and has the following: very heavy folding and wear (also has heavier creases and areas of wrinkled folding, damage areas); overall staining and darker areas of spot/line/section stains (also has many smudges, many dark and dirty areas, many grease stains, many areas of discoloration, writing in ink and mounting stains); very heavy edge and corner wear (including corners rounded and/or split/frayed/damaged/missing - edges rough/damaged in many areas); very heavy surface wear and fraying (areas of paper loss exist); many edge indents/nicks (multiple tears exist and many are large); one larger inner tear that I could see; pieces missing due to heavy wear and damage.
