Description: Here is an HP 83620A Synthesizer, exterior looks good, opt 001, marked "10 MHz-20 GHz". The front panel has a tag on it that says "BAD UNIT (PS) DO NOT POWER UP". I am not that familiar with the unit and I do not have the time or resources to dig into this, so I am selling it for PARTS/REPAIR, as is. I looked at the prices on eBay and they are quite high. Someone out there has the skills and ability to make this go again, or needs parts to fix theirs. I got this in a large equipment purchase with the tag on it. Look at all the pictures carefully so you know what you are getting. The main control knob is missing, thats the worst cosmetic defect I see, the top cover is included. This unit is quite heavy and the shipping will be high, especially to West Coast, I used estimates from other sellers for shipping/boxing costs. This will probably go by FedEx. Ebay will take about 24% of the entire money including shipping, so I aint getting rich here! Good luck!
