Besides the earliest variations that utilized either a steel or brass top housing, the majority of original Model O reproducers had top housings made of pot metal. While some original pot metal top housings can be saved, most have been either poorly damaged by would-be restorers, or have simply distorted themselves over the years to be unusable. These reproduction top housings are meticulous reproductions, with absolutely no details spared in making them near identical to the originals. They are machined in brass and nickel-plated just as they were 105+ years ago, replicating the low-sheen finish that was originally applied. Correct engraving around the perimeter of the body has also been replicated. The stamped serial number is 71886, applied to all of the top housings in this reproduction series. Please note that this listing is for the top housing only. You will need to utilize all other components, including the diaphragm, retaining ring, complete weight assembly, and limit loop pin from your donor reproducer.
