On Halloween night, 1978, Laurie Strode is babysitting Tommy at the house when the “Shape” ( the name given to Michael Myers in the first movie) attacks them. Samuel Loomis saves Laurie, Tommy, and Lindsey Wallace by shooting Michael six times with his pistol, but Michael survives. The Doyles then decide to move away from Haddonfield.
