Venues - ahhh yes, the many Fall, Summer & Spring ! Tours ... Twelve ( 12 ) shows here, dating all the way back to Fall ( Winter ) Tour '73 !! Always quite-the-scene in the lot in Charlotte, almost in a way-cool ' Southern-Hospitality ' way - some Fine-Times ! indeed !! Strangely, some pretty good acoustics too for an indoor basketball / hockey style venue - as I'll never ever forget a Morning Dew I saw Garcia pour-out his Heart ! for there, on Summer Tour '91 ! Whoa !!! I mean seriously ... pour. Jerry G. !!! The Home of the Charlotte Hornets here too, and etc.. back in the day ? Well, for whatever the reasons might have been, Garcia always-did seem to deliver the heavy duty goods in N.C. - almost like it was personal, or something ?!? I only saw 4 of the 12 Shows the Band played at the Good Ol' Charlotte Coliseum ! ... but have indeed heard plenty of additional " Tape " from the other Shows - and it's really cool how the Band truly stayed clear of any sort of ' off-night ' type situations in Charlotte - even later into '95. An indeed Historic G.D. Pass offered here ... and a way-cool & spooky ! one too - in pure " Grateful-Dead " style & fashion !! With ! ( may I add ... ) a Hot " Mighty-Quinn " Encore !! too ... way-nice. Indeed a sentimental " must-have " for many fans who either lived-near and/or toured-through Charlotte & North Carolina !!! ... for all-reasons obvious.
