Send me a message.To mark the 150th anniversary of the Civil War, the National Park Service offered more than 500 trading cards available throughout nearly 90 National Parks in 31 states. The NPS Civil War to Civil Rights trading card program began in 2011 starting with 23 parks and 189 cards. It expanded in 2012 to 87 parks and with over 550 total cards. In 2014 marking the 50th anniversary of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the trading card program expanded to include the Civil Rights theme and the totals expanded accordingly.This listing is the Governors Island National Monument cards. Some of the NPS sets were printed on very thin card stock and because of the way these cards were distributed, they were subject to being damaged, (dinged corners, whiting around edges, etc.). The cards in the pictures are the cards you will receive.My non-professional opinion is that these are in excellent to near mint condition.
