It’s held together with a thin rectangle block of styrofoam with burlap wrap. Each piece was individually placed & can be rearranged if desired. This is vintage and not recommended for young children to play with as each sprig has a sharp metal rod that slides in the styrofoam. The centerpiece has gorgeous, lush, silky soft Christmas foliage, berries, bulbs and shiny presents, topped off with a center green pillar candle and matching holder with a plastic spike securing it in place. As it is shown in photographs, it measures approximately 20” in length, 16” wide and 9” tall. The candle has never been lit. This piece is a gorgeous and lavishly warm and classic way to centerpiece your Christmas dining. It can also be used on oversized entry or coffee tables.
