GORGEOUS Antique ORNATE Sterling Silver Mediterranean Coral & Turquoise Necklace

Description: Spectacular antique eastern or middle eastern tribal style sterling silver, mediterranean coral and genuine turquoise ornate, textured, multi-strand necklace. This spectacular necklace is 19” long with a 1 1/2” extension chain and weighs 53 grams. It features a gorgeous pendant that has dimensional, sweeping curves with bright ball/bead detail against an oxidized background with a rich blue-green, genuine turquoise stone bezel set at center. The pendant measures 2 1/4” long by 1 5/8” wide and has a large, ornate bail. It hangs on an exquisite multi-strand necklace that features 2.5 mm round mediterranean coral and 3 mm round turquoise beads that are joined with ornate bead stations. There are ten strands just above the pendant that culminate in a bead station with three strands that lead to the clasp. The craftsmanship and fine detail found in this necklace is absolutely wonderful. Each turquoise bead is flanked by two tiny sterling silver beads throughout the necklace with groupings of these tiny sterling beads at each larger bead station. The pendant is a work of art in itself with a lovely dimensional design on the back, in addition to the exquisite detail on the front and the bail. I believe that a new clasp was added to this necklace at some point, but it was professionally done, if so. This necklace is in remarkable condition with no damage that I could find, aside from minor, age appropriate surface wear and/or oxidation. This necklace is absolutely stunning. It is not a large necklace, but it certainly makes a statement. All of the silver in this necklace, including the pendant, beads and clasp, has been professionally tested as sterling silver and they are guaranteed to be so.
