A GENUINE OEM D7824706Q will have a black or taupe colored mold.New genuine OEM Amana #D7824706Q ice maker unit / replaces D7824701; D7824702; D7824703; D7824704 and D7824705 + others too numerous to list. This is same icemaker unit that comes in the (iC11B and iC13B) add-on kits.When removing the fill cup KNOCKOUT for installing onto a rear freezer wall, use a box cutter being careful and firm handed, there is an outline to follow on the inside (units' mounting side) of the fill cup.(NOT the white mold of aftermarket generic styles as found on some listings). This fits many brands of products including Amana, maytag, Whirlpool's #4317943, several Sears models & some frigidaire & GE. This unit is sold without the ice level arm lever and wiring harness (these 2 items are easily transferred from the replaced ice maker). Comes with front cover, fill cup as shown and metallic "ell" mounting bracket on underside of unit. Makes 8 crescent shaped cubes per harvest cycle (provided you are getting the necessary (4.0 ounces = 130cc = 130ml) of water per fill). Accepts a variety/several wiring harnesses AT icemaker unit (the other end of a wiring harness is refrigerator brand and model # specific).
