Description: This is an intermediate level flute, but would be appropriate for a beginner as well. Gemeinhardt 3SB solid silver, open-hole (two of the holes have a removable cork inserted for ease of playing), B-foot joint. My grandmother bought it for me brand new in 1986 when I made first chair flute in high school band. It is a very nice flute for a high-school student, but that's the way my grandmother did things. I played it for four years of high school band and very occasionally since then. I have not played it for about 15 years. The flute is in good condition but it needs professional cleaning and new pads, no doubt. Silver on headpiece is slightly tarnished and in need of cleaning. Interior hard protective case and exterior soft carrying case are included. Both are in very good condition.
