Description: A great folding camera with plaque to the side which reads 'The Carbine' and embossed on the leather handle 'Carbine No 2' - below the lens it is marked Bausch & Lomb Opt Co Appd.The lens reads Beck Rapid Rectilinar Lens. Chrome parts in great condition. Good viewfinder with a non-working spirit level along side. Shutter works and appears to be good speeds and Bulb & Time. Stops and diaphragm appears to be ok - with smooth operation. Rack & pinion on the lower stage works well. Chrome in excellent condition Black bellows in good condition, no noted light leaks visible with some winkles to a few folds. Some specks in lens. Opening is fine, bottom pins of hinged door can come off the tracks but can be put back on. Includes uptake reel.Measures approx. 9 1/2 x 4 3/4 x 1 3/4 inches.
