This auction is for ONE - Arduino 8 x 6 LED Matrix Shield These are based on the work of the "Bald Engineer" which can be found at: baldengineer.com/led-matrix-arduino-shield.html You can purchase this in one of two models Model #1 - as a "soldering practice" kit.Model #2 - as a fully assembled and tested unit. Sample software (fully functional) can be adapted from the code on the website noted above. The assembled unit is ready to run. The kit itself is fairly easy and straight forward to assemble. This can be completed in an hour or so, depending on your soldering abilities. == == == Description: Model #1 - "Soldering Practice Kit" is as follows: 1 Blue PCB to solder all the parts listed below onto. The few SMD (Surface Mounted Devices) are already soldered into place. 48 GREEN 5mm LEDs are included and will need to be soldered into place. Header pin rows to which to connect this board directly to your Arduino (you will need to solder these to the bottom side of the PCB). You will need to orient and solder every LED into place, then you will need to solder the four supplied header rows onto the BOTTOM side of the PCB. Model #2 - "Fully Assembled": Pre-assembled with all the parts listed above.
