The colorful, sometimes playful, sometimes elegant ware was a true American success story. Desert Rose was a truly American, distinctly Western, maybe even purely California design. Desert Rose was groundbreaking in its use of wild, rugged, new design element when introduced in 1941. Its bramble appearance paid no respect to European floral tradition.
