The board has leather top and bottom panels. It’s really beautiful on a table! Size: Checkers- 1 3/4 wide x nearly 1/2 inch. Board: open is nearly 31 x 20 1/4 Please look at the photos for more info. The set is remarkable and only used a few times. The set will weigh about 10 pounds when boxed and will ship from 18921. So it the shipping cost looks out of whack, don’t panic.
