Description: Very nice vintage folk art painting of a colorful Heron in great all original paint, patina & condition. This is a very nice vintage painting done in the Highwayman's style. The Heron is painted on a rather large thick slab of Cypress wood.The colors are very pleasant and it has taken on a mellow patina. The painted details are very well executed. This is quite heavy, weighing almost 5 pounds. This great Heron painting makes a wonderful statement, it is about 29" x 7" x 1 1/2" thick. This came from an old collection and was purchased in Florida many years ago. You will not be disappointed with this great colorful piece of folk art.
