The plane measures only 8-1/2" L. The cutter is unmarked, it measures approximately: 7" L x 1/2" W. It would need to be sharpened for optimal use. This plane has the initial "M" burnt into the cheek (see photo). The wedge is original, and the plane has a great smooth finish & feel.
