Fine Antique Hutschenreuther Hand-Painted Porcelain Plaque Signed "Wagner"

Description: Gorgeous antique Hutschenreuther/KPM Style hand-painted porcelain plaque presented in a beautiful antique art nouveau gilt gesso frame! Signed by the sought after "Wagner" at lower right and depicts a lovely, fair maiden, "Solitude" after the original painting by Angelo Asti. Dates from the late 19thC to very early 20thC with exquisite, finely done details. Hard to find 3/4 length portrait. Rectangular porcelain plaque measures 6" by 4 1/8" with stunning antique original frame measuring 12 3/8" by 10 1/2" and with a depth of about 1 3/4". Hutschenreuther crown mark on the back and "107" which denotes the 4" by 6" size. Porcelain plaque in pristine condition (see pics) with no chips, scratches or cracks. Displays beautifully with colors that are still vivid and vibrant. Possible very light surface wear, but virtually flawless. Any haziness you might see in the pictures is merely a reflection of light. Gilt frame in near excellent condition with lovely bronze patina and some light age-related (see pics) wear and a couple very small losses. Overall, this piece is in near excellent condition and has been well cared for over the past 125+years. Would make a fine quality addition to any porcelain plaque collection.
