Description: I am selling for my dad. He was a huge Ford fanatic and was in love with this car. He was the original owner and this was part of their first offerings, which are now "retired". I am putting the production year at 2001, based on the date of the race and the language in their description ("35 years later"), though I am not certain. The original sold for $10K for reference. The model lived most of its life in the box. My dad only had displayed temporarily. It is mostly in showroom condition. The notables are: Somehow someway the front right fog light cover went missing, as well as one of the 6 tiny spoiler bolts. Fortunately, I found Tony (of Exoto) here on eBay selling a pair of the covers and bought them (not a cheap purchase to help make this a fully complete product to sell). As for the spoiler hex bolt, he doesn't have any and will only come across if a damaged piece comes across his desk for parts, or there is another production run (which is possible). There are a few other parts that came unglued. It is clear that the glue job is very delicate with limited glue used, so it is not surprising to me that the glue could lose its effectiveness with age. The parts include 2x hinges (?) and one other part (I'm not a car person, so I can't tell you what it's called). All those parts are pictured. I have chosen to not attempt any fix job myself. I prefer to sell as is. It is packaged incredibly well and should be very safe in transit. I will give it proper additional packaging and mark it fragile. If you live in Southern California, I will most likely prefer to drive it to you and deliver it personally.
