Description: European union 20 euros, first year of issue 2002, signature Jean-Claude Trichet, prefix letter U, signifying printed in France, hence Pick catalogue number 3u. The obverse is blue and multicolour with Gothic architecture, reverse with ancient bridge and map of Europe. The euro banknotes are pure cotton fibre, which improves durability and gives them a distinctive feel. The 2002 design has now been discontinued and replaced by a fresh design with the signature of the current President of the European Central Bank, Mario Draghi. Condition is crisp flat uncirculated but with the usual slight curve under the hologram. Generic photo is shown here. Postage and handling flat fee US$9.70 per package worldwide, including postal tracking. Extra items may be included for no additional postal charge. Full return privilege offered. (If you are buying more than one note and the system automatically adds extra postage, don't worry. We will immediately refund any postage charged more than once. Or you can message us here to sort the problem.) Other items are on sale here, mostly rare and in top condition for the specialist collector and investor. Please contact the seller, in any language, with any questions. Buy now! This item will be withdrawn at the end of the current 30-day listing period. Direct deposit is also available to accounts in France (in euros) or Australia (in Aussie dollars) for a reduction in the postage charge. Please contact the seller before payment to arrange this.
