Description: A rare English antique solid sterling silver and glass hunting flask bottle. The hallmarks are partially struck on the rim, it tests as sterling silver and I would date it to c1880. It has been superbly made having a glass body and sterling silver screw top that has been engraved with a horse head and hand crest. It is in superb condition being free from splits holes chips cracks and repairs. It measures approx. 8.75 inches (22.5cm) tall by 2 inches (5cm) across the base by over 1 inch (2.8cm) across the top and weighs 370 grams. A superbly made very high quality piece.
