Description: 7 Signed Books & 2 Original Letters Elmore Leonard was a client of my parent's automobile storage business. His vehicles were left in storage in West Palm Beach, FL when he was "up north" for the summer. My parents would bring his vehicles to the Palm Beach International Airport when he came to his home in FL for the winter or other events. The letters mention "Get Shorty" having a hard time getting picked up for a movie deal, artwork and illustrators and his switch from Dell/Delacorte Publishing to Harper Collins. He sent my parents these books and letters which are on his personal stationary and one is still in the original envelope with his name and address on it. Signed Books: - Get Shorty (paperback) - Pronto (hardcover) - Cuba Libre (hardcover) - Tishomingo Blues (hardcover) - Mr. Paradise (hardcover) - Pagan Babies (hardcover) - Be Cool (hardcover) About the author: Elmore John Leonard Jr. (October 11, 1925 August 20, 2013) was an American novelist, short story writer, and screenwriter.
