Description: Really great early model Blackburn C trumpet! I believe this is a L bore (as ML is normally marked on the valve block when a Blackburn is indeed of a medium large bore) , serial number 103. Some slight discoloration on finish that I will be working on getting cleaned up (if possible). Beautiful playing instrument....an early make. Some scratches here and there on the finish...nothing major...and will not affect playability. Replaced third valve slide ring to fit my big finger, but it's silver in finish. This also has potential for adding another bell instead of the one pictured. I hate to part with this, but it is time I thin out the collection. Sale is final, but you can purchase with confidence as this is a top of the line trumpet with all parts perfectly working. I can provide more pictures if necessary, but you won't be disappointed. UPDATE: Early X Model C Trumpet (late 1980's, early 90's)-MD19 is the bell mandrel-A 20is the lighter ambronze bell material-S on the engraving indicates a steel bead and not a brass bead.
