Description: This lovely embroidered silk panel features brilliant red fruit and green foliage against a white silk or satin background. The fruit is almost abstracted but could be ripe apples. I think the panel and embroidery is American and dates to c. 1920. It is 24" x 19.5". The bakground fabric is in fragile condition with splits (but no loss of fabric) and would need to be remounted on a stronger backing. Stock Number SA2B-557
