Description: In 2009, Walt Disney World and Disney's Hollywood Studios opened a new attraction called THE AMERICAN IDOL EXPERIENCE. To celebrate the opening, all AMERICAN IDOL winners up to that point came to the theme park, including photos and a motorcade along "Hollywood Boulevard." Each convertible that carried a winner had a magnet on the side with their name. This car magnet is for Taylor Hicks, winner from season five. I can't find a clear photo of Taylor in the car with the magnet showing, but I've included a photo of Taylor in the parade and another of Ace Young so you can compare the car magnet design. I have learned that each car magnet was printed twice, so there would be a back-up if the first was damaged. I don't know whether this was the "hero" magnet that was used during the parade or the "understudy." Since 2009, the magnet was folded in half at some point, resulting in a tear along that line. The magnet is still in one piece and doesn't seem to be stressed once it is magnetized to a car or refrigerator door or other display surface. I'll do my best to stabilize the tear with a cardboard sleeve when shipping, but it will come in a loose roll inside a shipping box.
