Description: Created by Linda Bloodworth-Thomason, DESIGNING WOMEN follows the misadventures of four women and their helper running a design firm in Atlanta, Georgia. In this memorable 1991 episode, rough-around-the edges handyman Rusty is turning 40 and he asks Julia for a date. Julia accepts and the others tease her about the date. On the date, Julia discovers that Rusty is erudite in his knowledge about opera when they see La Boheme. The show's cast at this point was Dixie Carter, Annie Potts, Jan Hooks, Julia Duffy, Meshach Taylor, and Alice Ghostley. This is an original brown & green paged script that was issued during the show's sixth season of production. The second page has a sticker that indicated that it was issued to Chris Friedgen who I believe was at Designing Women's studio, Columbia Pictures, at the time.
