Description: Welcome (back) to the wonderful world of Lilliput Lane miniatures collecting. Lovely replicas or fantasies on real British cottages and historic buildings. They aren’t making them anymore and they are delicate, so collect now. Cruck End is based on a cottage in Didbrook in Gloucestershire. Cruck is an old English word for a split tree trunk which was used to support a roof and refers to a cruck ended building. Very ancient and steeped roofed with dormers, it is archetypical of the West Country. Outside a man relaxes in a two wheel cart while his horse grazes. The cottage garden surrounding the house is a riot of color while at the back a window hangs partly off its hinges. A wisteria climbs over the front porch. A very detailed and idiosyncratic Lilliput. Exquisite detail. The deed is signed by David Tate. Perfect mint. No chips, dings or damage. Original box (rather worn) with original customized protective packaging, and deed of ownership. Buy with confidence. We hand inspect and fully describe every item. Beware of lesser descriptions. Free shipping in the USA.
