Description: This is one of the rarest lanterns you will see from any Colorado railroad! It is a Cripple Creek and Colorado Springs Railroad Adams and Westlake fork mount switch lamp. A welded tag is clearly visible on the side of the lamp that reads C.C. & C.S. Patent dates on the original brass manufacturer's tag of 1886, 1888, and 1895. Chimney opens easily, and has the correct original lenses-two red and two green. Has the correct clip-in fount, burner, and even has its inner glass chimney! The fount comes out and goes in easily as well. This is an impossible to find piece---these simply never come up for sale. An excellent piece that should be in high demand from Colorado RR enthusiasts and even narrow gauge collectors, as the railroad was originally a three foot narrow gauge before being converted to standard gauge. This will be shipped in a box about 16" x 12" x 12". Globes will be bubble wrapped and removed from the lantern frame so they do not rattle inside the frame and break. Shipping is a flat rate that includes the cost of U-haul box, bubble wrap/packing peanuts/tape.
