Soviet T-34/76 Medium Tank is a heavy die-cast metal vehicle with plastic wheels and tank trends that rotate smoothly. Its metal turret rotates 360 degrees and metal cannon raises and lowers. Soviet T-34/76 Medium Tank dimensions are approximately 4 3/4" Long (5 1/4" including cannon) x 2 3/8" Wide x 2" High. Soviet T-34/76 Medium Tank chassis detail is incredible. Soviet T-34/76 Medium Tank is painted in Soviet Winter Camouflage. Realistically painting includes muffler exhaust. Soviet T-34/76 Medium Tank is made with Die-cast Metal with Some Plastic Components. Soviet T-34/76 Medium Tank is beautifully weathered paint, with Russian words showing on its metal turret; unique for Corgi tanks! 112th Tank Brigade was presented with a number of tanks paid for by Mongolia and writing reads "Revolutionary Mongolia." Rare Soviet T-34/76 Medium Tank was attached to 112th Brigade, 6th Tank Corps, during Operation Barbarossa, Eastern Front, Jan. 1943. Model was released in 2003 with an edition of only 6,500.T-34/76 medium was dominant in early stages of World War II and came as a nasty surprise to Germans in 1941. T-34/76 was a Russian medium tank which first saw service in 1940. It had a truly long-lasting impact on battlefield. Not only were T-34/76 they able to cope with mud and snow with their large tracks, but they came with a perfect combination of thick and 60-degree highly sloped armor, efficient gun, good speed, autonomy, and extreme sturdiness, reliability, ease of manufacturing and maintenance. At the time, T-34/76’s 76.2 mm (3”) gun was more than a match for any other tank in service at that time, and its thick sloped armor was unhindered by anti-tank weapons at this stage of World War II. Russian T-34/76 easily outclassed German PzKpfw III and IV tank models. Legend has it that some T-34s rolled off Stalingrad assembly line unpainted and even unfinished to prevent Nazi invaders from capturing city. Although its battle effectiveness was challenged later in war, when Germans first encountered the T-34/76 in 1941 during invasion of Soviet Union, it came as a nasty surprise to them. Secondary armament was 2 × 7.62 mm (0.3 in) machine guns. 84,000 T-34s were built and were most-produced tank of WWII. With 44,900 T-34s lost during WWII, also it suffered most tank losses ever.
