Som Bethroit Zoom Lens - Tokina TV Zoom Lens - Rex-O-Matic - 400' Magazine - Many Extras! 1 free roll of Kodak 7207 film included! Fully working! COMPLETE TURNKEY CAMERA PACKAGE! WORKING AND READY TO GO OUTOF THE BOX! I am a filmmaker who is getting rid of their camera package in order to get new stuff. This pristine and well-maintained camera comes from my personal collection. It comes with all original accessories, including the 2 lenses, film magazine, and carrying case. This vintage 16mm film camera is perfect for collectors and filmmakers alike. The Bolex brand has a long-standing reputation for producing high-quality cameras, and this Rex 5 is no exception. Don't miss out on the opportunity to own this complete package. If you want a camera package that has everything that you need to begin shooting as soon as the package arrives, this is it! It even comes with a free roll of Kodak Vision 3! After many years of sitting on a shelf, I decided to have it overhauled and this thing still smokes! (And comes with some great extras to boot!) This little thing has shot some amazing footage over the years. (Ebay won’t let me post a link to video but if you would like to see the footage, please send a message) I just had it Professionally CLA’d (Cleaned Lubed and Adjusted) by TJ Ediger at Pigeon Creek Camera, so it shouldn’t need it again for another 3 years. This thing is ready to shoot! Just insert film and you’re ready to go! Purrs like a champ! There’s a lot of bonus stuff with this camera package as itcomes from my personal collection and has been taken care of. This package isperfect for someone who just wants to buy a camera package and start shootingASAP! All Items included are listed below. Pics below!(Footage availible upon request). I know it’s alot to ask but if someone doesn’t bid on this lot then I’m just going to have to sell it off piece by piece and considering all that’s here and in original condition, I would really hate to break it all up. I’m hoping it finds a good home with someone who will love it like I did. INCLUDED ITEMS: 1) Bolex H16 Reflex 16mm motion picture Camera (Swiss made, vintage and well maintained.) Pristine and recently CLA’ed. Runs great at all speeds. No slippage or wear. I had a new turret level installed but other than that this thing is all original. (More on the camera below). Has had 50 feet of film run through it without any problems whatsoever. And since it was just CLA'd it should be another 3 years before it's needed again. 1) F=25mm Som Berthoit Pan Cinor Zoom Lens 1:3,8(17mm- 85mm) f:3.8-22 C-Mount Cinor Lens. Came with the camera originally. Near as I can tell the optics look great. When I look through the viewfinder it looks good, but I’ve not shot with this one. Between the two lenses you should be good to go! 1) Tokina TV ZOOM Lens 1:1.8 (12.5mm -75mm) With a Macro function for close up stuff. It’s a very versatile lens. Works great for low light situation and has a wide focal range. Fully working. Optics still great! Includes both front and rear caps to protect the lens even in harsh conditions. 1) REX-O-MATIC automatic fader for creating smooth, professional looking in-camera fades and dissolves. This works great and looks great! A fantastic and reliable tool for filmmaking! (Unfortunately I do not have a rewind key for doing the in camera dissolves, but the fade function will have you doing the smoothest fades on the block! 2) Brand New RUBBER Eyecup! (The tried-and-true best material because of its resilience and durability) I got a brand new one + 1 extra just in case! You’ll never be concerned about losing one because you’ll have a backup! 1) Sekonic model L 398 Light Meter. Sekonic’s analogue light meters are the tried-and-true workhorse of the film industry. They are reliable and durable. In my 20 years in the biz I’ve never seen a Digital Light Meter on a real set, it’s always one of these suckers. For filmmaking it’s analogue all the way baby! (Works accurately and comes in a leather case.) 1) roll of Kodak Vision 3 7207 (I shot my thesis on this film and it's a beautiful image.) But this roll is brand new, just arrived at my house last month. 1) Original Rex 5 Owner’s manual. I’m not saying it’s a great read, but it will walk you through all of the functions and eccentricities of the Bolex. You’ll never go wrong with this info in your hands! 1) Kit of 5 Filter holders and an extra filter (With the one inside of the camera that's a total of 7 filters holders) Each filter is already preloaded with colored gel filters, saving you time. Even if you were to lose one, you've got 2 extras. 1) 400 foot magazine for larger shoots. I bought this a long time ago but never used it. It requires a motor to run it properly (which is not included in this package, but if you're looking to upgrade this camera for real film shoots, this'll get you started building that package.) If nothing else it'll be an extra so you can just swap mags on the run when you get a motor package. 1) Pistol Grip specifically for the Rex-5 Cameras. It comes with the disc portion (Which is often missing when picking these up on the used market). There is a lever piece missing that enables the trigger to work, (I think a long bolt might actually do about the same good, but I’m no machinist) but even just using the handle as a tripod does make the camera a handheld monster with the run and gun sensibility provided by this pistol grip. It’s awesome for RUN AND GUN shooting! Mobility and versatility abound when you can just pick up and go! Sturdy and well made! 1) Extra leather hand strap for the handle. The one already on the grip is in great shape but originals of these still in this quality are difficult to find. 1) Extra turret lens cap. You're not going to lose one, but if you did you'll rest assured that you have your precision piece of equipment protected! 1) Extra C-mount rear lens cap to protect the elements of your lenses. Again, just in case you lose one, you'll never damage the lenses. Having an extra helps protect your investment, because as any film professional can tell you, film sets can be chaotic places. Having an extra just makes sure you’ll never be without if the other one falls in sewer or is misplaced by a sloppy Camera Assistant. ABOUT THE CLA PROCESS: CLA or Cleaned Lubricated and Adjusted (Regular maintenance required every 2 or 3 years to keep the camera in proper running order. That’s what makes this camera such a great deal is that if you bought one that wasn’t CLA’d Recently, you’d just have to pay that money after you receive the camera or risk it choking to death. This camera is ready to go without any problem whatsoever. It’s like it just walked off the factory floor. A CLA entails: Complete disassemble of the camera and clean out the inside from emulsion & debris that collects after years of use. Clean, oil & polish claw mechanism and film transport and adjust for proper pulldown & pitch. Clean and reorient viewfinder. From years of use, your camera is banged around constantly which makes the viewfinder crooked. Reassemble camera, re-calibrate speeds, set timing, set up camera to factory specifications.
