Description: Our client's lovely cabinet in the chinoiserie style dates from the mid twentieth century and is believed to have been crafted in France. It measures 6' 10"/ 82" (208 cm) tall and 25" (61 cm) deep, and 43.5" (110 cm) wide. Its upper section that rests upon the lower cabinet, features a gabled cornice above a case fitted with paneled cupboard doors and lower section with single paneled drop front with working lock and key, and is decorated throughout with painted and gilt designs in the chinoiserie style.May be used as a bar, cupboard or bookcase. There are dents, scratches and surface wear, and considerable wear to the flat surface below the upper section from where the left and right doors open, plus some chip losses from the front lower edge of the top cornice from from along the lower edges. There is a long scratch across the face of the base. There is a vertical crack to upper left door. Item HA-1784. Item sold as-is.
