Cover, with non-reflective finish, looks great; a few creases near edges; light-scuffing, a couple tiny surface abrasions, and surface impressions (front/back). Inner-sleeve is original (photos/lyrics/credits). Spine is easy-to-read with mild-wear. Some shelf-wear along top-edge, heavier wear along bottom-edge and corners. Opening is crisp with signs of light use and divots. (Not a cut-out.) ABOUT THE RECORDThis Carly Simon album is best known for its title track, Anticipation, which was a top-twenty chart hit in the U.S.; it was later used as the soundtrack for a television commercial for Heinz ketchup in the late 1970s.The single earned her a Grammy nomination for Best Pop Female Vocalist. I've Got to Have You suggested a frankly passionate person whose vulnerability was a source of strength, not weakness, a trait Simon would continue to pursue in her later work. Writing in Rolling Stone, Stephen Davis gave a glowing review of the album. He called the title-track "a spirited examination of the tensions involved in a burgeoning romantic situation in which nobody has any idea of what's going on or what's going to happen."
