The note is dated 1973 and signed by Bank of Canada Deputy Governor John William Crow and Governor Gerald Keith Bouey. It has green, yellow, red, blue, and black colors and dimensions of 152 mm by 70 mm. Its front side features a colored coat of arms and Anthony Buckleys picture of Queen Elizabeth II. Its reverse side features a view of the Parliament Buildings and the Ottawa River. The note does not have a security thread nor a watermark. It was demonetized in 2021.
