Description: This is a pair of true vintage finned aluminum Cal Custom valve covers for Pontiac V8 engines. I believe these fit all Pontiac V8 engines from 1959-1981. Both covers have the part number 40-2200 and Cal Custom Gardena, Calif cast into the underside as shown. Please confirm your specific application. These valve covers are in good original condition as shown. These recently came out of the collection of a long time hot rodder and have been in cool, dry storage for decades. These covers are in bare aluminum finish with no repairs. One cover does have a chipped corner that looks like it can still retain a gasket and seal as is. There are also 2 modified fins next to the chip as shown. If this area is directed in the right area when installed, I imagine it will go unnoticed. These covers look to be in their original finish and have not been sand or glass bead blasted. These are simply very nice original Cal Custom valve covers that have survived the test of time.
